MY BOOKS:
Here are the the books you've been waiting for if you've every wanted some friendly introductions to the Night Sky! Simple
Stargazing
has scribblings on all sorts of things like planets, eclipses, the constellations,
shooting stars, comets and lots more. Everything is aimed at understanding
and knowing what you're looking at with nothing more than your eyes. Seasonal
charts will let you know exactly what stars are visible during the year
together with any particularly great starry objects you can see.
Stargazing Secrets includes the same seasonal charts at Simple Stargazing, but includes objects you can easily see with binoculars and small telescopes. In fact there's a section on how to choose equipment as well. Plus, find out about how day, night, seasons and years really work as well as sections chatting about the northern lights and why sunsets are red and much more!
Simple Stargazing was published in the UK on 3rd October 2005 and in the US on 1st March 2006. The Spainish version appeared on 4th September 2006 and the Chinese one is out in 2008. Stargazing Secrets, was published in September this year and will be out in the US next March.

The Solar Pyramid is a major sculpture destined to become a landmark as the world's largest working solar clock. Over 40 metres high, this sundial will create a pyramidal form overlooking Derbyshire's Poolsbrook Country park and visible from the M1 motorway.
